(Farminton, MO.) Farmington city officials are pleased now that the final changes for subdividing commercial property, that would see a Starbuck's Coffee Company location in town, are now approved. The okay was given at last night's Farmington City Council meeting. City Administrator, Greg Beavers, says the new Starbucks would be built between Jack in the Box and the vacant China Buffet building. Beavers explains building the Starbucks might also include other improvements to the adjacent property.
According to Beavers they aren't sure what business would move into the spot where the China Buffet was located. In other business at last night's Farmington City Council meeting councilmen decided to remove the test stop sign at the intersection of Alexander and Maple streets. During the test period the city received many comments asking for the stop sign to be removed.
