VFW Fundraiser
Larry and the crew is cooking breakfast every Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the Farmington VFW large hall. Dine in and get ALL YOU CAN EAT eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy and a drink for ONLY $7! To go boxes are available. Open to the public!
Food Access Resource Markets (FARMs)
The FARM event is an opportunity for our neighbors to get a mix of fresh and non-perishable food items at no cost. There is no identification or income verification requirement-anyone is welcome.
On the second Tuesday of each month, from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm, the first FARM drive through food event will be held in Student Lot A at Mineral Area College. Patrons are asked to enter the main campus from Flat River Road and turn left into Student Lot A, proceed through the food distribution area and exit the campus at Flat River Road. To avoid traffic issues, please do not use the Hwy O entrance to arrive or depart from this event.
This event is set up as a drive-through distribution and volunteers and/or staff of Mineral Area College will put food directly into your car. We ask that you have space in your vehicle for the food items and that you do not leave your vehicle during the distribution.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. The distribution will end at the stated time, or one call food and other resources have been distributed.

Join A1 Homecare in making things Merry & Bright for the patients at NHC Nursing Home Rehab Unit this Holiday season!
Donations will be accepted from October 1st thru December 19th and can be cropped off or mailed to A1 Homecare, located at 400 MC Black Road, Bonne Terre.
Items being collected are:
Socks, word search book, crossword puzzles, journals, stationary items, yarn, sugar free candy, regular Christmas candy, face masks, Manicure kits, pajamas, throw blankets, etc.
There will be an Evening Mixer at Turkey Holler Bed & Breakfast, located at 8046 Raintree Drive, Bonne Terre, on October 17th from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Join us for an evening of socializing and getting to know our business partners! Turkey Holler Bed & Breakfast/Venue Destination has a Bed and Breakfast in the loft of the barn for those wanting a country getaway with all the comforts of home. The barn is big enough to host a wedding/receptions or parties such as birthdays and anniversaries. There are walking trails and an outdoor fire pit for those evenings when you want to sit outside and gaze at the stars and eat S'mores.
*This is a complimentary event for Chamber Members and their guests. Members must register prior to the event.
Lake Timberline Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Glow in the Dark UTV/ATV Scavenger Hunt.
Registration is at 6:00 pm FIRM. You MUST be there by 6:00 pm and remain on site. We will start at 7:00 pm.
The cost is $10 entry per vehicle OR passengers may play as well for $10 each.
The goal of the event is fun! There will be lots of great prizes, a bonfire, hot dogs and chips available for $3.
Any proceeds go to the equipment/turnout gear for our Volunteer Fire Department.
Join the Bonne Terre Chamber in welcoming Freedom Weight Loss, located at 202 N. Division Street, to the Bonne Terre Community! On Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm with the ribbon cutting at 11:30 am.
There will be live music by Noah Mesey from noon-2:00 pm as well as vendors and giveaways.
On Saturday, October 19th from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, come watch and listen to GTO perform in Desloge Park Gazebo. Check out RayAnne’s food truck and eat dinner with your family. Bring a blanket and watch the sunset while GTO plays a free concert in the park. It’s sure to be a great time!
