(Potosi, MO) Our recent extreme winter weather has Potosi school district officials talking about the lack of broadband internet in the area and how it effects students virtual learning. The Superintendent of the Potosi School District, Alex McCaul, says about 50 to 60% of Washington County doesn't have reliable internet.
According to McCaul an improved infrastructure is the solution and that action would have to come from the state. McCaul is heard monthly on the Potosi School Report on AM 1240, KFMO.
