(Park Hills, MO) The latest COVID19 report from officials at the St. Francois shows a total of 3319 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the county since March. 957 of those are new this month. The number of deaths in the county has reached 28, The Executive Director of the Center, Amber Elliot, says traditional Halloween activities are fun but some can increase the risk of getting, or spreading COVID19 or the flu. According to Elliot there are extra safe health tips this Halloween.
Elliot explains Face coverings should be combined with other mitigation measures like physical distancing, washing hands, and staying home. The first seasonal case of the flu has also been reported in St. Francois County.
