Farmington Rezoning To Develop Pine Street Area

(Farmington, Mo) - Rezoning actions in Farmington will help toward developing around 160 acres on the eastern side of town around Pine Street. City Administrator, Greg Beavers, says the area would be built up with housing.

According to Beavers, the city will be involved in part of the construction of an expanded Pine Street with the build up of the area expected to stretch over the next 8 to 10 years. Officials with the Farmington Schools have plans to place another school classroom building in the area as well. The rezoning actions were taken at last Thursday's Farmington City Council Meeting.
