(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Farmington, 31 year old Keri M. Smith, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was involved in a one car accident in St. Francois County this (Thursday) morning at 12:15. Highway Patrol reports show Smith was driving too fast for road conditions as she was headed west on Highway 32, about a quarter of a mile east of Oak Ridge Trail. The car ran off the right side of the road in a curve and crashed into a rock embankment. It rolled over and caught fire. Smith was wearing her seat belt when the wreck took place. She was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
