(Jefferson City, Mo) - Governor Mike Parson (R) has announced an extension of the Stay at Home statewide order. Initially, the order was set to expire on April 24th. The new deadline has that looming into May.
After the Stay at Home order is eventually allowed to expire, a layered process into a "new normal" is expected to be rolled out nationwide. In 14 day increment phases, with schools and daycares hopefully opened by this Fall, provided no additional major flareups of the virus takes place. Parson also says certain areas of the state may fall under different phases at different times.
