Hawn State Park Hosts Public Information Meeting August 29. Felix Valle Meeting Postponed to September 26th

(Jefferson City, MO) Representatives from Missouri State Parks are inviting the public to attend an informational meeting for Hawn State Park on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Hawn State Park shelter.

Attendees are invited to share comments about the park and its operations during the informational meeting.

The previously scheduled Felix Valle State Historic Site portion of the public meeting is rescheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, at Felix Valle State Historic Site.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create two-way communication with the public.

You are strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and protect yourself and others amid ongoing public health concerns. Come prepared with hand sanitizer and bottled water, avoid large and congested crowds, and please stay home if sick. Face coverings are encouraged when social-distancing measures are difficult to maintain, and may be required by local orders.
