(Bonne Terre, MO) No injuries are being reported after a fire Sunday morning in the 800 block of Highway 47 west of Bonne Terre near airport Road. Big River Bonne Terre Fire Chief, David Pratte tells KFMO B014 News his crew was called out just after 7 o'clock to working structure fire. Pratte explains when they arrived residents were out of the home and safe. There were pets still in the building and some were rescued while others perished in the fire. Pratte also says Terre DU Lac firemen set up a secondary back up group ready to assist since the original fire was only about 10 feet from a secondary structure that was in danger of catching fire. Several departments assisted Big River Bonne Terre firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
