(St. Francois County, MO) Four people are suffering injuries after a two vehicle accident Thursday night in St. Francois County. According to reports from troopers with the Highway Patrol 32 year old Daniel E. Bochantin, of Springfield, Missouri, was driving north on Hillsboro Road at the intersection of Route O when he failed to stop his S.U.V. for a posted stop sign. Reports show Bochantin drove into the path of another S.U.V. driven west by 57 year old Gary A. McFarland, of Park HIlls at about 9 o'clock. McFarland's vehicle crashed into the right side of Bochantin's causing it to roll over. The report says when the S.U.V. rolled Bochantin's front seat passenger was thrown out. The report goes on to show there were two passengers in Bochantin's vehicle, 53 year old Loretta L. Taylor of Lansing, Michigan and 26 year old Desiaray L. Belle of Springfield, Missouri. Belle and Taylor received serious injuries. They were not wearing their seat belts during the wreck. Belle was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Taylor was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. McFarland was seriously injured and Bochantin was moderately injured. The two were wearing their seat belts and they were taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. Both vehicles were totaled in the wreck.
