(Farmington, Mo) - A peaceful protest was held by around 100 people in the shadow of the St Francois County Courthouse Monday evening. Organizers told KFMO / B104 that they were happy with the turnout and that things remained peaceful. Organizer Janie Jacks talked with Audra Cain at the protest.
The protests remained peaceful throughout the evening. Farmington Police Chief Rick Baker told KFMO / B104 that the city police department had a contingency plan in place should the protests turn into more than peaceful.
