(Washington D.C) United States Senator Roy Blunt says he may not support tariffs as a negotiating tactic yet he is pleased that Mexico and the United States have reached an immigration agreement after President Trump threatened Mexico with higher tariffs. Blunt says the agreement would send Mexican troops to the Mexico Guatemala border to help stop the flow of immigrants.
Blunt adds a rally was held in Tijauana this past weekend and a strong friendship with the United States was one of the elements stressed by new Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
