(Park Hills, MO) The number of coronavirus cases in St. Francois County is at 2407 as of Friday with 13 deaths attributed to the virus. St. Francois County Health Center officials say there are also 7 deaths that are suspected to be COVID related. 390 cases are active. The positivity rate of the disease is at 9.2% for the week of September 20th putting the number of cases per day at a lower count than during the spike in August. Administrators at the Health Center say the rate gives cautious optimism yet it's still important to wear a mask, practice good hygiene, and continue to socially distance yourself from others when appropriate.
