(Park Hills, Mo) - By now if you haven't started thawing your turkey, there's really only one safe way left you can get your bird thawed in time for tomorrow's feast. John Wiseman is with the St. Francois County Health Center and says you're going to need a cooler and some tap water for this.
Wiseman says the very best way to thaw a bird is in the fridge. He says NEVER leave it on the kitchen counter overnight. This can lead to botulism forming on the outside of the turkey which can be a very serious health threat.
