(PARK HILLS, MO) - Park Hills Citizens will see an increase in their water bills after members of the city council approved the increase. Park HIlls City Administrator, Mark McFarland, says the minimum base rate for water in town will go from $7.50 to $10.50, a 3 dollar increase.
McFarland also says city officials are considering hiring a couple of extra workers to do nothing but work on the water lines in town to help maintainj them after years of neglect. The decision came at Tuesday night's council meeting along with a new ATV UTV ordinance and a new ordinance governing solid waste containers in Park Hills. McFarland was a guest on the KFMO Morning Drive's twice monthly Park Hills City Government Report.
